The success of Gunja Pathak highlights the impact of the Online Digital Literacy Program of Kalam Foundation in bridging the digital divide and empowering communities through technology-driven education.
Gunja Pathak from a rural community, once struggled with basic computer knowledge and had very limited access to digital resources. Due to a lack of exposure and proper guidance, she was unable to confidently use smartphones, online platforms, or digital learning tools, which created barriers in her education and career growth.
Through the Online Digital Literacy Program organized by Kalam Foundation, Gunja received structured training on basic computer operations, internet usage, digital communication, online safety, MS Office applications, email creation, online documentation, and virtual learning platforms. The program also introduced her to digital financial literacy and online government services.
With continuous mentorship and practical learning sessions, Gunja gradually developed confidence in using digital technology. She started attending online classes independently, preparing presentations, using digital learning applications, and helping other students and community members access online services.
Today, Gunja Pathak has become a digitally empowered youth leader in her community. She actively supports other girls and students in learning computer skills and motivates them to use technology for education and self-development. Her journey reflects how digital literacy can transform lives by creating confidence, opportunities, and self-reliance among rural youth.
The success of Gunja Pathak highlights the impact of the Online Digital Literacy Program of Kalam Foundation in bridging the digital divide and empowering communities through technology-driven education.
