A Weekend at the Rural Health Drive

Our team drove four hours to reach a cluster of villages near the district border. We set up a basic health check station under a banyan tree. Volunteers helped with registration while medical staff checked blood pressure, eyesight, and general health. An elderly woman who had been living with undiagnosed diabetes for years finally got a diagnosis. She held my hand and said nothing. I understood everything. That moment stayed with me the entire drive back.
